Brooklyn Facey
Brooklyn is currently a sophomore at Butte College and is one of Barefoot Dance Co.’s Hip Hop, Hip Hop Dance Team, Kinder-dance and Jazz instructors. Her love for dancing and performing started at the age of three when Brooklyn was always the little girl on stage waving at mommy and shaking her little bum. After moving to Gridley in the fifth grade, Brooklyn excitedly joined Lynn's Dance Arts and was ready to begin dancing and eager to meet new friends. Thanks to her amazing instructors, Brooklyn grew tremendously as a dancer, and quickly became apart of the dance family. Besides becoming a teacher, one of Brooklyn's proudest moments in dance was being able to audition and become a part of the Jazz, Lyrical, Hip Hop and Musical Theatre dance teams. Dupree was Brooklyn's favorite competition where she learned new genres of dance from some amazing world-renowned choreographers. This is Brooklyn's second year teaching at Barefoot where she strives to create a fun but positive learning environment for her dancers, and she believes each dancer is unique and hopes to bring out best in each one of them.
