Dance Team Auditions: Monday, Aug. 29th: 6-9PM - Dancers will come and learn their audition routines. Wednesday, Aug. 31st: 6:30-8PM - Perf/Comp Teams (7th - 12th grades) come to audition for judges.

At Barefoot Dance Company, we offer many different options in our competition dance teams. We have teams separated into performance and competitive levels including our Mini and Upper Level Jazz Team, Lyrical, Hip Hop, and Musical Theater Dance Teams. All teams are chosen by audition only.
MINI PERFORMANCE DANCE TEAM: Open to 3rd - 6th graders. Recommended to be enrolled in and regularly attend a Ballet and Jazz class.
MINI COMPETITIVE DANCE TEAM: Open to 3rd - 6th graders. Recommended to be enrolled in and regularly attend a Ballet and Jazz class.
PERFORMANCE DANCE TEAM: Open to 6th - 9th graders. Required to be enrolled in and regularly attend at least 2 other classes, preferably Ballet and Jazz.
COMPETITIVE DANCE TEAM: Open to 8th - 12th graders. Required to be enrolled in and regularly attend at least 2 other classes, preferably Ballet (and/or Lyrical) and Jazz.
LYRICAL TEAM: Open to 6th - 12th graders. Required to be enrolled in and regularly attend a Ballet and Lyrical class.
HIP HOP TEAM: Open to 3rd - 12th graders. Recommended to be enrolled in and regularly attend a Jazz and Hip Hop class.
MUSICAL THEATRE: Ages will vary depending on staging and choreography. Recommended to be enrolled in and regularly attend a Ballet and Jazz class.
